Jr. Cheer Coach
Junior Coach Core Responsibilities
1. Junior Coaches must serve as role models:
- Understand and believe in the core values of the RJS Cheer Program.
- Represent themselves, the Junior Coach program, and Roseville Junior Sports in a responsible, respectful manner both during and outside of the program (including on social media).
- Serve as positive role models for all RJS Cheer teams with their words and actions.
- Commit to fully engage in sessions with participants and coaches.
2. Junior Coaches must foster a positive, inclusive environment.
- Build relationships with and between teammates.
- Encourage and motivate participants.
- Participate in games and workouts with the team, encouraging everyone to give their best effort.
3. Junior Coaches must develop their leadership skills.
- Lead activities and practices on the teams they support.
- Support head & assistant coaches as they lead practices & activities.
- Collaborate with head & assistant coach to receive and act on constructive feedback.

2025 School year
When
The 2025 season will begin on August 4, 2025 thru November 2025. (Pending Playoff & Superbowl games.)
Where
Practices will be held at the RJS field until early October when we will move indoors to Roseville Middle School.
Practices
- Starting August 4: Practices will be 5 days a week, Monday - Friday.
- Starting the week of August 25: Practices will go down to 4 days a week. TBD on days of the week.
- Practices are typically between 5:30PM-8:00PM. Coaches will contact parents on exact practice times for their teams before the season starts.
Games
- Games take place on the weekends with varied start times depending on the division.
- A game schedule will come out closer to the start of the season.
Attendance
Committing to attending at least 3 practices/week & 5 out of 8 games
